The place and the stays

A place where the body recovers what the world took from it.

Morning light on the sea, fruit ripening on the trees, birdsong from the moment you wake. A large mas in the Pyrénées-Orientales, arranged around everything a human being needs. I am there every day, and I accompany you for a day or for as long as you like. A week is where it takes hold.

The place Pyrénées-Orientales, between sea and mountains

Let me show you around

A large mas, a Catalan farmhouse, set in a small world of its own. The birds sing here, and the fruit trees give part of what we eat. Around the house: a pool, and next to it a space for strength and functional movement; a large garden; common rooms where everyone gathers; a music room, for making something beautiful; and a workspace with wired internet, to limit electromagnetic fields. You sleep in a single or double room, in one of the two dormitories or the caravan, or in the camping area, and I say more about that further down.

The sea is very close, and few places have the kind of access to it that we do. You can swim, naked if you like, and there is a naturist corner where the sun reaches your whole body. Bikes are yours to take. Up in the mountains, an easy trip from here, there are hot springs with water that is extremely pure. We go there to recharge.

Food is supplied on site. It comes from Primal Elite, my food project, and it is the best you can get today: fruit grown partly here, partly in Andalusia, where the sun is stronger. Everything is there for you, at any hour, and you pay for what you take as you go. You never have to think about where to buy anything.

What the place gives each need

We are natural beings, and our needs are met in a natural environment that matches our physiological needs. Here is what this one offers, need by need, with no order among them.

Food

What our cells are fed with, at the quality Primal Elite supplies, and always within reach. You put together your own meals and eat when you are hungry.

Air

Sea air and mountain air, and whole days you can spend outdoors.

Sun and circadian rhythms

Mornings can begin with a bike ride to the beach, to watch the first light and set the body's clock. After that, the sun is yours for as long as you want it.

Water

Extremely pure water at the hot springs in the mountains, and the sea, close enough to swim in every day.

Sleep

Days that follow the sun make nights that follow the body. A room, a dormitory, a caravan, or a tent: you choose how you rest.

Silence

A relative silence, and never a crowd.

Movement

Functional, and everywhere you look: the pool and the strength space beside it, the bikes, the garden, and all around, the sea, the beaches, the nature reserves, and the mountain trails.

Relationships

Common rooms, mornings together, a music room to play in together, and shared projects for those who stay longer. A small tribe, never more than ten, and nobody is asked to join anything.

A day here

We meet in the morning. Anyone who wants to can bike down to the beach with the others to watch the first rays of the sun; it's a simple way to set your circadian rhythm, and it costs nothing but getting up. Then breakfast, for whoever is hungry. No one has to eat, and everything is always there, so you eat when your body asks and not before.

The rest of the day is there for the taking, never required. Sports and movement. Walks. Other beaches, the nature reserves, fishing, and the other things that put you back in touch with nature. Hikes in the mountains. If you stay longer, there are shared projects you can join.

There is no program to follow. Some days you will do everything. Some days you will do nothing, and that will be the day you needed.

What I do, and what I leave to you

I am always on site, and always available. Raw food is where my experience lies: I have seen the many problems people run into when they change the way they eat, and I show you the best way to eat raw foods and how to handle them. I follow up, I guide, and I don't take over.

Some people come to learn and want as much as I can give them. Others come to rest and enjoy the place in peace. Either way, I give what is needed and nothing you didn't ask for. Your stay is yours.

Who will feel at home here

You are looking for an environment that leaves you better than it found you, one where the best of you can come out. You know what to expect: everything here is arranged around human needs, and you want to find out what it feels like to have every one of them met. In today's world that is hard, even impossible; here we get as close as we can, and you may come to know the growing joy of honoring all of your needs.

  • You want food of a quality you have not come across elsewhere, without having to go looking for it.
  • You want your days set by the sun, the sea, and the springs, with someone on hand who knows how it all fits together.
  • You are ready to take part: the days here are physical, and the place is shared with others.

What I charge

I sell one thing, and it is my accompaniment: €300 per person per week. It covers my presence on site every day, what I know about raw food, and whatever follow-up you ask for while you are here.

I count it by the night, so a stay that is not a round number of weeks costs its share and no more. From fourteen nights I take 10% off, and from twenty-eight nights 20%.

That is the whole of what you pay me. Your bed and your food are two separate arrangements, and neither of them goes through me. Here is how each one works.

What else you will need

A bed

The house is called le Mas. Your bed is arranged with the Mas directly, and paid to them.

There is room. Single and double rooms, two dormitories, a caravan, and a campsite, all on the same land as the pool, the garden, the common rooms and everything else I have described. They will tell you what it costs.

So write to me when you have your dates and I will give you their details, and you take it from there.

Food

Food is paid as you go, through Primal Elite, my food project, for exactly what you take. Plan on €300 to €500 per week, depending on what and how much you eat.

Booking on this site books my time. Settle your bed with the Mas before you set off, so that you do not arrive without one.

How long should I stay?

As long as you like. To really soak in the experience, come for at least a week: that's the time it takes to settle into the rhythm of the place.

Can I come for just one day?

Yes. You are free to come for a single day, and you will be welcome. Just know that a day shows you the place, and a week lets you live in it.

Is food included?

No. Everything is on site, supplied by Primal Elite; you help yourself and pay for exactly what you take. Plan on €300 to €500 per week. Nothing is bundled with anything, and no one has to go shopping.

Where do I sleep, and is that included?

You sleep at the Mas, in a room, a dormitory, the caravan or the campsite, and you arrange that with them directly. Ask me and I will give you their details. What you pay me is my accompaniment.

I have health problems. Can I come?

Tell me before you book, and we will look at it together, case by case. Physical activity is part of the stay, and this is not a place for critical situations: those call for competent professionals.

Which languages do you speak?

French, English, and Spanish.

How do I book?

Send me a request through the site. I answer personally, and we confirm the dates and the payment for my accompaniment together, and I will give you the details of the Mas for your bed.

I am not a doctor, and a stay here is no substitute for medical care.

Book

The door is open.

Ten of us at a time, all year, for now. Tell me when you would like to come and for how long, and I will answer you myself.
